Hello again.
When i use midi out to synth and then audio in from synth i hear a good amount of latency.
I think i have the latency problem only when i use midi.
This "MidiOutputMicroTimeCompensation" sounds pretty interesting.
The thing is that in the Docs its not very clear witch how to enter a value.
Is it just like that, lets say i have 10ms latency, i just put the value 10 there?
Or how does it work?

You could try entering a negative value that is equal to the latency of your audio card. Note however that doing it way MIDI output will be out of sync with audio output.

So in my case i edit the midisetup.txt and write "MidiOutputMicroTimeCompensation -10" and that would send the midi 10ms earlier?
Like this:

InputPort7=LPD8
OutputPort7=LPD8
InputPort1=2- ESI ESP1010e MIDI 1
InputPort2=2- ESI ESP1010e MIDI 2
OutputPort1=2- ESI ESP1010e MIDI 1
OutputPort2=2- ESI ESP1010e MIDI 2
InputPort3=USB Midi 4i4o
InputPort4=MIDIIN2 (USB Midi 4i4o)
InputPort5=MIDIIN3 (USB Midi 4i4o)
InputPort6=MIDIIN4 (USB Midi 4i4o)
OutputPort3=USB Midi 4i4o
OutputPort4=MIDIOUT2 (USB Midi 4i4o)
OutputPort5=MIDIOUT3 (USB Midi 4i4o)
OutputPort6=MIDIOUT4 (USB Midi 4i4o)

MidiOutputMicroTimeCompensation -10

No you got to write:

Code: Select all

MidiOutputMicroTimeCompensation=-10000
It's explained on this doc page:
