Hello
I just tested the MeldaProduction plug-ins first time and I'm very impressed. There are many very useful features! A great collection of plug-ins!
One of the features I need are the harmonics in the equalizer and in the dynamic equalizer. I'm working a lot with voice recordings and it would be great to have one filter to affect the fundamental frequency and it's harmonics at once!
My problem is, that the existing feature does not really affect harmonics but octaves (or fourths, fifths or whatever you set with the semitones knob). Harmonics are multiples of the fundamental frequency, so 1xf, 2xf, 3xf, 4xf and so on. The feature in the plug-ins always double the frequency, so we have 1xf, 2xf, 4xf, 8xf and so on.
Or in a concrete example:
Harmonics: 400Hz, 800Hz, 1200Hz, 1600Hz, 2000 Hz, ...
Octaves: 400Hz, 800Hz, 1600Hz, 3200Hz, 6400 Hz, ...
Is there somewhere an option to change to actual harmonics? That would be great!
Thanks a lot!
Best,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
actually in the forthcoming update this will be addressed, but it is at a wish of a customer, and I'm personally against it. The reason is, that the Q needs to be readjusted with higher harmonics and in all cases must be high enough. Also the number of harmonics must be limited (in our case to 16) to make the CPU usage reasonable. Well, you'll see, I think that the feature may be useful, but it can also be quite dangerous.

Wow, this is great news. I'm looking forward to this feature! I understand that such a filter poses some difficulties to implement it and it can be dangerous if not used correctly. But especially when processing voice and in audio restoration it can be very helpful!
