Just wanted to post what Eric said on his Facebook page. This should start everyone buzzing again. Normally, I don't see him respond to questions but that one was a quick response (which in my books means we are closer to something good).

That, and another post about a new patch name "Nuke the Moon". You heard it here folks, he is working on a new patch for Omnisphere!!!

Excited to hear what they are up to. :wheee:

An a related note, just 15 minutes ago a friend of mine posted an article on facebook about US plans in the 50's to nuke the moon. I won't post it here.

I'm interested to see what they come up with regarding Trilian. I'd love a Rickenbacher bass for one thing. Midi out for the arp too :)

Me too, i've asked them about a va synth engine and they said you never know so it's possible, seems like a logical step forward as well i think. :)

He loves that element of surprise.
I'm sure it will be great.

I asked about MIDI out of the arp back at NAMM 2011, and he mentioned they were 'working on something'.

Hopefully they'll be back at NAMM this coming Jan.

Hopefully they will implement the full magma with the new release..off course with the ability to use it as a stand alone processor.

Omni and Trilian both have full VA synth engines already!

They could do fx as a standalone in itself and it would be choice. But audio modulated by the LFO's .....

Post

are all the instruments/samples in Omnisphere "dry" if you want them to be?

Post

You can remove the effects, so yes. Some samples are wettish to begin with, but you will rarely hear complaints about these samples - considered among the best available.

I thought Trillian's synth patches were based on synth samples not a VA (?)
