Hi. First timer, and can't find the info via search.

I purchased a NIB Rev C. I have had for a while, but just putting into use now. I am hoping to DI NI Komplete 4, then 5. Considering a further upgrade to 8, but want to get these running first before commiting.

The machines are connected via Ethernet through a router. The Receptor HD shows in Finder, And I was able to update OS to 1.7 via drag and drop, then front panel of the Receptor. So - the machines are talking to each other. However...

I start Remote Control, and my Receptor never mounts - I get the Searching For Receptors message, and can't start Direct install until it does so. javascript:emoticon(':help:')

I have tried the following
Enabled File Sharing (only) on both
Switch from Auto DHCP to Crossover, then back again
Disable Firewall
Disable Zload
Re-verified that Finder sees Receptor HD (it does)

The MBP is at OSX 10.6.3
The Receptor is at v1.7.20080616

Ideas anyone?

Thanks! :help: [/list]

In case it's important - Internet access through Airport, not through Ethernet.

I've had no success with the Muse supplied software. Try "Chicken of the VNC."
