I bought 3 of the most expensive ones - Harmor, Maximus, Morphine. I am a sick SOB and I need help.

That's like arguing that you've bought a new winter jacket, and in the summer you complain that you never asked for the extra warm sheep wool interior.

I don't believe any are officially 64-bit at this point. AFAIK, there were 64-bit betas of a few (Toxic Biohazard, Sawer... maybe a couple others?). But I don't think they are out of beta yet.Gosh wrote:since it was asked before but not answered: which of the image line plugins are 64bit (vst, pc)?
thanks
Also, my understanding is Harmor is never going to 64-bit; dunno if that's true for some of their other plugs.
So yeah, I wouldn't be buying any Imageline plugs until they have proper, stable 64-bit versions. Their 32-bit plugs don't play well with 64-bit environments.

To get over the inevitable surge of guilt after parting with money for plugs, you need to focus on how much you have saved. And on this deal, you have saved more than $360 based on the regular retail priceArglebargle wrote:I bought 3 of the most expensive ones - Harmor, Maximus, Morphine. I am a sick SOB and I need help.

A couple of more pages and no one will answer this because: none of them are x64.Gosh wrote:since it was asked before but not answered: which of the image line plugins are 64bit (vst, pc)?

I don't know what it is about you FLS fanboys, but whenever the very legitimate question of x64 native comes up, it either gets ignored, or a few of the devoted jump in to mention that it "WORKS" in 64 bit (which, btw, it doesn't-bridging is not a viable option for many).
We are now in Windows 8. x64 is not a fad, and it's not going away. Delphi has supposedly solved the recompiling issue. So the question remains: Does FLS want to be taken seriously, or not?
Incidentally, I own just about everything FLS has, both in the DAW and in vst. Haven't been able to use it in a year or so. If and when IL gets off the couch, I will be a very happy guy.
Cheers

edit: post crossed with shponglefan's. still valid though.

That's not referring to the VST; rather it's referring to Windows versions (i.e. it's a 32-bit plug that will work in 64-bit Windows, but it's not 64-bit itself).cyphersuit wrote:logged into the IL forum. i'll better forget about the 64bit version, there are some buggy betas which haven't been worked on by IL for months.
also groove machine product page says 32 bit and 64 bit, but the installer only has the 32 bit version.
lame
Personally I find it really irritating when companies pull that. Just tell us whether the VST itself is 32-bit or 64-bit. None of this trickery to make the consumer assume or guess.

I own always some IL stuff (Harmor, Sytrus, Toxic Biohizard,...) and if there wouldn't be the missing 64Bit thing I would buy (again) Harmor.

I bought Morphine... and it comes with absolutely NO PRESETS???
Is it serious or I'm doing something wrong?
Nevermind. I was doing wrong.
