Id probably be interested in Harmor and Harmless if they both had a version for OSX..

Post

I would buy harmor, if it was 64-bit.
And thanks to kvr I now know that it's only 32 bit, IL isn't pointing that out clearly

There will be a 64bit (VST) beta of Harmor/less sooner than we predicted. It already works. Makes no difference of course (you wouldn't load 4GB of audio in Harmor anyway), except that it'll run without a bridge in 64bit hosts.

And there won't be a mac version.

Is it serious or I'm doing something wrong? :x

Nevermind. I was doing wrong.
Well, the Morphine presets are nevertheless pretty crap. Sounds like late 80's digital synths most of them. Morphine is definitely a synth for the programmer, with much time on his/her hands.

Anybody looking for good presets straight out of the box, should rather get Harmor...

Just get harmor, it's pretty much the best synth ever. I just bought it. It's blowing my effing mind.

Also sytrus is great as stated earlier. If you don't have FL studio then slicex is probably a great investment also, I own geist and I pretty much prefer slicex for most slicing duties.

But harmor. MAN THAT THING IS AWESOME. I don't even know how to use it yet and it's killing me. If you use FL studio you really have no excuse not to get it. The way it integrates with the program is amazing. You can load single cycles waves from the browser, throw audio into the resynthesis engine from practically anywhere, and my personal fav: x/y per note automation.

This synth is THE SHIT

I still love sytrus though, much prefer it over FM8

I purchased so many of these at full price.

$200+ Now $45.....WOW

How?

I've always thought Sytrus sounded like complete crap...

That is fantastic news. Although it runs smoothly in jBridge, I'd love to be able to run it unbridged. My opinion of Harmor is very much in line with stillshaded. Harmor is the absolute IL masterpiece.

Why not?

I'd get Harmor too if there was a Mac version... very interesting synth... but alas, IL is not interested...

PIBCAK?

Sorry to be so sarky, it is meant somewhat tongue in cheek. I really like Sytrus, but I guess different people like different things. Maybe Sytrus just doesn't float your boat. There are other synths or sounds people on here go all gooey over where I don't see what the big deal is.

Why not?
because the GUI is too Windows-dependent

Not a fan of the small interface but Sytrus to me is at or near the top for Image Line synths. (Still like FM8 but Sytrus is not totally redundant to me it has a much different sound). Just bought! 8) :)

Post

I just purchased Harmor.
