I do like Harmor, and Toxic too...if I get any $$ for Christmas I might get Toxic, as on my PC it's just that Harmor has a graphics issue. Other than that though, Harmor is really cool.IrionDaRonin wrote:For those who took Harmor.

Forget the first bunch of filesThose are in RAW format.
- A random collection
A collection of waveforms from various sources.
Just get the files from Acoustic guitar till the bottom one by one.
Finally a kind forist sent to me a gift to get Harmor.
I'm very happy with it, it is a beast, easy to use and nice with CPU.
Have a good day guys and Merry Christmas
Which Image-Line plugins would you get? (end of the world sale)

That's nothing, when I run Harmless in EnergyXT2 it totally disappears and you have to reload your session. Doesn't seem to happen in other hosts though.PatchAdamz wrote:I have the same problem here.Examigan wrote:I like Harmor, I have been trying the demo out.. but noticed this happens when I click the menu for articulation/mapping/shaping and pick something from it:
Nothing like this happens with any of my other synth plugins, and I have a pretty lot.
If I minimize Harmor, then bring it back up again, it looks fine and it does work after that. But if I pick something from that menu again, and the same thing happens.
I don't think it's my video card, it's a NVidia GeForce 7800GT, so should work fine. I already know my Ram could be better, only 2 gigs (but I have XP 32-bit, not Vista) and I don't have any other plugins loaded up in Sonar when I am trying it out.
I also just did a clean reinstall of XP about 2 weeks ago, so not sure what's up.
EDIT: I just posted this same thing in the Image-Line section of KVR to see what they say over there.

Often I simply cannot use the plugin due to the fact that so much is missing.
Still, thinking of Harmor....MMmmmm..........

Yes, that also occurs in Cubase 6.5 often.codec_spurt wrote:That's nothing, when I run Harmless in EnergyXT2 it totally disappears and you have to reload your session. Interesting - neither Studio One nor Usine nor Live have that problem here. Is it just Cubase and Energy XT or does it happen in more hosts?

Runs fine in Reaper and Renoise too, both 32bit and bridged.
According to a post by Gol in the IL forum Cubase compatibility is also what is holding up the final beta release. I'm glad I've always lucked out with my DAWs.

I've actually never had a problem with any synth I purchased from Imageline, inside or outside of FL.
I use Studio One Pro and Samplitude as my main multi-track DAWs. I do own Reaper and Energy XT as well, but don't use them as much due to so many instability problems with a large number of virtual instruments. I also own FL Studio, but rarely use it professionally.

I have seen the graphic glitch in the demo of Harmor (32 bit, in Reaper 32 bit, Win 7) when I open the envelope window (as per the screenshot posted above) - but if I close the Harmor window and re-open it then works fine. Quite annoying, but it's not a showstopper.

atm, Harmor seems very interesting to me!
I really like flexible and feature rich synths.

Can anyone tell me why I should NOT buy Groove Machine?
I know I am buying Harmor and now I do not want to buy Sakura. However, Groove Machine reminds me of a Electribe and I really like the sound of it. It has an unorthadox preset system which is why some of you may not know it does have some presets - not a lot, but some.
Can anyone give me a good reason not to buy it (and not the 64 bit fanboys please)?

Have you demoed it? please do, i didn't. I haven't spent much time with it but i get this feeling of regret. If you think of electribe you also (i guess
) think of workflow and speed.
Loading your own samples is not fast .. you can add folders of samples, only load one via windows browser and then hit previous/next.
Maybe there is a config menu somewhere though!

The graphics glitches occur here on Reaper. Sound and everything else works fine but the graphics are completely glitched. Happens on most IL plugins. What graphics card do you have? On both of my systems where the glitch happens I have Nvidia graphics cards.wasi wrote: Runs fine in Reaper and Renoise too, both 32bit and bridged.

There is major overlap in the way they handle samples. But they serve very different purposes. Edison is inserted into an fx slot. Slicex is inserted into an instrument channel. If you want to record and edit audio, Edison is what you want. Slicex does not record. If you want to use sliced loop in a song, Slicex is what you want. You can't play a loop/sample as an instrument with Edison. Both complement each other. Edit a loop in Edison, play it with Slicex. I don't think they lose any functions outside of FL, but I wouldn't know for sure.liquidsound wrote:Is there a major overlap between Edison and Slicex?
I will not use them in FL. Do they function well in other hosts? Do they loose some major functionality outside FL?
Tempting price....
