Thanks for the heads up Peter and look forward to the drum mappings that you are working on incase you kindly share them/I have a library which you do. Really appreciate the hardwork you have done already with SFZ mappings mate

All the best your way :)

The "alpha test" versions are already up on my site - you'll need Analogue Drums Tape Series Two (at least one of the kits) to try them out. "alpha" because I've a lot of work still to do... target is "just after Christmas"...

Just tested it on my system.
Works nicely with the freeware Salamander Grand 48khz sample set.
Thanks again :)

This is a fantastic feature! I just put the user path to my sample folder, and now I have very easy access to all the Beat Zampler content, CM Alchemy content, and various other libraries I have in SFZ format.

It's always been time consuming to dig out SFZ files from various folders, to load them in a SFZ programme, so this is a real help :tu:

great news! this just makes sfz a more preferred format. :)

loads all versions of salamander grand for me before I tried with sfz player as well as other well known ones. The only one I could load was the 16 bit version which would take forever, or crash reaper not with this thing loads them and fast! :D

Are Analog Drums still going?

Post

Yup. I imagine it does take a while to get a multi-mic'd drum kit recorded well at multiple velocities and then edited down. I know it takes a fair while from that point -- I'm doing SFZ mappings, working from the Tape Series 2 samples, and it's taking me ages (I estimated three months - I doubt the AD guys are full time on it, either). They've been posting occasional updated on Facebook. ("They" = Dylan; dunno who else is there.)
