Tips & Tricks for Mulab 5:

- Using cyclic curves (Sine/Tri) in automation parts or Multi Point Envelopes:
You just need two curve points for this. Place them at the desired start and end, edit curve, select e.g. sine, click the curve handle and drag it up to create 'more sines'. The point is that the amplitude and vertical position of the sine curve is defined by the vertical position of the start and end curve points. So, have them at different vertical values to see the sine curve.

- Re-using colors for coloring various patches with the same colors:
I have setup a color palette with all the color sets i need to color MUXes (open any MUX patch, unlock the front panel and select "Show Color Picker".)
After you have created your own color setup save the session under a suitable name. The color table will be stored in the session and can be recalled by loading this session. The palette stays when you load a different session.

- Multi Core
I have a rock solid system with setting the number of Audio Processor Threads in the Audio Setup to the number of real cpu cores of my system and not taking any hyperthreading cores into account.
The processing power of M5 with an i7 2600 is mindboggling:
32 Mulab Reverb, 32 Mulab PingPong Delays, 32 Mulab Chorus, 1536 osc voices, 512 filter, 256 audio limiter plus all the LFOs, envelopes, amplifiers etc. running at the same time.
More than i will ever use.

Hopefully more to come...

- the browser previews nearly everything...
click on the MUX presets button (the Where selector let you choose between the factory or user library or another place), choose instruments and click on one...

It will be preloaded in the "Focused module panel" beside the virtual keyboard on top...and is ready to play!!!!
With the browser in focus you can even use the arrow key down to step through the library...(look, what happens if you reach the bottom of the window...)
This is absolutely fantastic and I missed something like this since Logic went apple only...

If you found a preset you like, just drag it to where you want...
Experiment with this new browser... it will speed up your workflow like nothing else!!!

To create a background with gradient, have the color picker open (see first post) and simply drop colors at the top and bottom of the background.

Any color can be copy/pasted. Just right-click on a color field

Envelope Follower: When using the modulation output (green), the Threshold setting is irrelevant. It has no influence as this output is continuous.

- MuClips are saved with their synth sound. When dragging a MuClip into your session you can choose to use the synth it was saved with or to use the current synth attached to the track.

Shortcuts support more than one action. You can now do things like STOP Transport + GOTO Start

For those who are into creating MUX patches:
I found a way to show dynamic values on the front panel by 'mis-using' a knob as a meter.
Check THIS patch. The "Mon" knob is the Balance param of the Audio Balancer module. The Dry/Wet and the Env Follower are added and are be monitored on the front panel.

Sounds good... Mac version Please.

it doesn't, only stays for that same session :(

The color palette is defined per project. Can't remember how it was back in 2012, the post time you are referring to, that's a long time ago.

I guess so, this was closest thing I could find, didn't want to open new thread about it, so guess it could be nice to have option to set your own global preset colors palette.
