You'll see a 15% discount automatically applied in your shopping cart. :)
Yea, that's a great price, but don't group buys usually have target numbers of sales required before the discount applies?

BTW, this is really an amazing compressor. No one should underestimate these simple looking little Ren Comps. More than once on Dave Pensado's YouTube show Pensado's Place I've heard either he or some well known mix engineer guests talk about either Ren Comp or Ren Vox as kind of longstanding secret weapons. I think this Ren Axx is just as good as those other two. I get a nice, balanced, professional sounding, acoustic guitar sound literally in seconds with it.

We usually just put anything in the Group Buy section that goes on sale. If you ever see something go on sale that's not in our Group Buy section, let me know and I'll probably be able to add it there.

This may or may not be obvious, but can I use my Cubase/Steinberg eLicenser as the USB stick for the Waves license? I don't know if it's proprietary to steinberg or not.

^ Nope. It's proprietary to Steinberg afaik.

Outta luck then. :) Couldn't get Reaper, energyxt or ableton to scan/load it.

Nevermind, moving on...

Thanks for you help MM.

Yes it will end :)
"OFFERS END DECEMBER 31"
my sincere apologies for leaving out a word. I did not see an end date on
the waves site.

Ableton definitely can load Waves plugins. I think you have to manually copy the waveshell.dll to your plugins directory.

I've always had to clear cache/rescan from the options menu to get Reaper 4 to recognize any new Waves plug-ins. It worked with the demo version of Ren Axx on Win XP.

No license yet, but an immediate confirmation email last night saying it had to be manually generated.

Just so I know, is it likely to take until Monday now? I have time on the demo, so it's not a big deal.

I think we all remember what happened the last time Waves had to generate a lot of licenses quickly.

Pity Enigma is not fs - that's the only Waves plugin that ever interested me.

reaper4 not recognising supertap for me.
EDIT - actually it does but the install is a little strange. Waves asks to install in C:VSTPlugins or somesuch, and maybe it does. But to get Reaper to 'see' it you have to point Reaper at the C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Waveshells where it appears it actually is

There's possibly a way around that. Get hold of the newest xlutop dxshell (from http://www.xlutop.com/buzz/zip/ ), and drop the waveshell.dll onto shell2vst.exe (32bit or 64bit as appropriate).

It'll create a folder of individual .dlls which you can relocate, and scan, separately.

Best to have the waveshell.dll outside your regular VST search path, if you're doing this, btw

Mondo Mod is the only one I have not got yet.
At $9, it seems like a deal as long as its 64 bit.

All waves I understand are now 64bit if you check your waves installer in your account ;•)

Bought: Q10 and mondomod for $15.30, already had the other two. Woot.
