IPad apps that I already have:
GarageBand
Korg iMS-20, iPolysix, and iKaosillator
NLog Synth Pro
Sunrizer
Animoog
Magellan
Little midi machine
Jam up pro
Drum Jam
Audiobus
Multitrack DAW
With all that, I can create some pretty good sounding stuff. Multitrack DAW is easy to use and get a song to the point where it sounds good, but lacks the finishing touches.
Auria seems like a beast, but will I get to the same point of, "Hey this sounds great, but if I could only just..." And then need to drop a bunch of extra cash anyway?
I think I'm talking myself into buying Logic. Using the computer seems like a chore now though.
So spoiled!
FWIW, most of the stuff I write is either electronic, trance, psychedelic, sludge metal, death metal, thrash metal, or a mash up of any or all of those. I also could see myself doing some quiet, spacey sort of ambient stuff too. These iPad synths are amazing.
You guys rock too, btw!
