Wow! This is such an excellent idea! And judging by the demos (and the comments here), the quality of the patches are superb as well! Well done!! I'm buying now! This sound set plus a comprehensive course in orchestration is all I need to copy Wendy Carlos!

I JUST bought these so-called "Orchestral" patches, JESUS WHAT A HUGE PILE...
... of PHENOMENAL Synth Patches!!!
I just spent an hour frolicking in the art school wonderland you made... dropped all the stuff in and my little Akai MPK25 had an easy job giving motion and color where most sound makers just avoid XY altogether. The modwheel use is unsettling at first, but it makes sense with these patches once you use 'em.
The assortment was tested out on my computer keys after download, and was thoroughly amused... even when I rolled up in a modwheel muted patch... just more sounds to try later with the Akai.
You even made an XY to REMOVE Delay and REVERB... bless you (Zebra patches are often DROWNING in reverb/delay). More soundsmiths should offer this.
GREAT USE OF COMB FILTER!
You gave 'em away too CHEAP (not that *I* mind so much, now that I have 'em)!!

Thanks!Resoded wrote:Corin, love the patches.
I suggest you get to it and make a follow up. I'll be over here with my credit card at the ready.
I've got some more ideas for things I'd like to try, so another sound set is definitely probable.

Thanks! Yes, the modwheel is SUPER important with the bank. I lifted the idea from The Dark Zebra bank. I like to think it encourages the user to write more dynamically. Also, it seems to take a lot less time to sit something into a mix with the Reverb/Delay levels hooked up to an XY pad together.
I love the comb filter. It's one of the big things that keeps me coming back to Zebra.

Nice work!
Truly inspiring. Sometimes I wonder how the heck I manage to struggle to name patches...
How would it sound?!
How would you make a polyphonic kazoo? There are some options...
Also, thanks!
I'm looking over the names of the instruments you fellows listed above. An Ethnic bank sounds more fun to make by the second. I was going to get some sunlight this year!!!
