I know I'm doing something wrong but I cant seem to do a GLOBAL save in Consequence. Whenever I click on the preset menu it does not let me type in a new name.

In the Consequence interface click into the Preset Menu and choose Save Preset.

Which preset menu? I did that under 'Global' and it simply closes. It dosen't allow me to name it.

Hey Robert,
Just a note in case it helps someone else, I use Consequence inside VE Pro. Not all parameters work when inside VE Pro. I have to edit my presets in stand-alone mode, then load them when in VE Pro.

Well first time i hear about another host, i contacted them for a version so that i can investigate whats going on.
There could be some rights managment problems. Could you try running the host as administrator. Maybe that helps.

Unfortunatly i can confirm that the save dialog fails to come up. For my understanding this is a problem in VE. I already contacted them and i hope we'll find a solution.

Just want to let you know that we investigated the problem and this is a basically problem of the VST SDK. But VE is able to workaround it and will fix it.
