Hi there,
I have a little problem with my synthmaster and maybe someone here can help me. I have already contacted support, but they didn't really care about my problem...at least this was my impression...
I'm using OSX 10.6.8, latest Logic, 64 bit, 10GB Ram
I bought the synth but all the programming I did is not saving with my song. It still behaves like I'm using the demo version, though I downloaded and installed the real deal, even with the latest updates.
Maybe someone here can help me cause otherwise I would really deinstall my synth and never touch it again. It's killing me not to be able to save sounds within my projects and the support seems to be really lame, at least this is my experience.

This is what their support sent me back:
"Did you download and install the full setup?" After that I never heared back from them and my problem is still not solved.

I would be pleased if anyone has an idea of what I could do.

Frank,

please try this:

Download the latest update at:

http://www.synthmaster.com/downloadfile.aspx?fileId=53

Extract the zip file and run the "UpdateSynthMaster.command" script.

I am suspecting that the script is not copying the component files on your system, so could you please copy

SynthMaster2.component to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
SynthMaster2FX.component to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

SynthMaster2.vst to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
SynthMaster2FX.vst to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

Also, please do make sure you have full write access on

/Library/Application Support/KV331 Audio/SynthMaster

and all sub folders. Otherwise each time you run SynthMaster you'll get "SynthMaster is running for the first time" message.

BY the way I've tested this issue with Logic 32/64 bits on 10.6.8 and so far I could NOT reproduce it.

This feature limitation only happens with the demo version of SynthMaster, i.e. not saving preset settings.

You can check whether you're running demo version by moving mouse over the "KV331 Audio SynthMaster" text:

just tested this one more time with Logic Pro x64, can not reproduce the issue, session save/load working just fine...

I have a similar problem: the Synthmaster is not in demo mode and I've tried the remedy described, but it still has problems.

What happens is that the song will save and that the patch in Synthmaster also saves. I can tell when I open the project anew, that the patch loaded in Synthmaster is correct. But the actual synth settings, the patch setup so to speak, is just the init patch. So again, the name in the patch window is correct, but the synth is still just in its init mode. If I go to the patch browser and load that patch again, it will load the patch settings as well and work correctly. But the problem comes back on next reload of the project. Hope this makes sense.

Can anybody help? I've tried all I could think of - reinstall, manual installation as above, checking the read/write permissions etc. I haven't tried a full uninstall because I don't know what components removed will constitute a 100% uninstall.

I run Logic Pro 9.1.8, 64 Bit, and Synthmaster 2.5.4.146, 64 Bit, on a Mac Pro (Mid 2010) running OSX 10.8.2.

Could you please try copying the component files that come with the installer directly to

/library/audio/plug-ins/components

and then reboot and try again?

I have bought Synthmaster Everything Bundle and got a serial number.
But I can t download the synthmaster file before I register me on the website And the problem is
I don t know how I find the registration code that I need to register me on the website.
Can everyone tell me please where I get this code.

I paid with paypal.

And this error message come:
Please enter a valid e-mail address to start the download.

On the website I dont can send a E-Mail because I am not a regist user
