Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.
I'm having some trouble with the Sylenthl 2.2 demo showing up in my vsts in Ableton Live Lite.I've downloaded it from thier website and it gives me the demo installer, i downloaded it but i won't show up in Ableton.

I've noticed that it saves in a folder called Steinburg, but when i open Sylenth1 Demo in Ableton's file brower, nothing is in there.
Hope someone can help me! :help:

Well, you can check in Live's preferences. It has to be pointed to the folders your VST's are installed into, otherwise they won't be available in Live. You said it saves in a folder called "Steinburg". Not sure what that should mean though, first of all it should be named "Steinberg", 2nd thing is when you have such folder, you gotta have to have a product by Steinberg. I'm not sure what you mean by "it saves in", you mean you installed th Sylenth1 demo in said folder? If so, then you have to point Live to that folder in the preferences. It isn't configured by default.

Here is how to do it: http://www.oscillicious.com/support/how ... eton-live/

Ok, when i installd Sylenth 1 I got a zipped folder that brought me to my Sylenth 1 installer It asked me what folder i wanted it installed to, i picked Ableton's VST folder. Then it asked me where should it place the program's shortcuts, i picked Ableton\Sylenth 1 Demo. My vsts are configured in ableton,
but yet its still not showing up. I really want to use this VST.

I don't know if this is related since I use Sonar, but I found out after a very long search that Sonar has a limit on the number of vst's that can be displayed in the synth list. As I deleted unwanted/unused plugs from the synth manager, Sylenth popped up again. I forget what the limit on the number of plugs was. If you have a billion plugs, maybe that might be an issue?
