That's the idea, yes... I hope we get that done...Timfonie wrote:Does that mean you can lock _any_ parameters which will keep their values when you switch to another preset? A "lock" feature wouldn't work (as a global A=440 detune) if some of the patches are already fine-tuned to compensate for wonky tuning within the patch. Dunno how many patches are already fine-tuned, but...

Just wondering if it would be possible to see a Master Bypass switch for DIVA. I saw that you updated ACE to have it, and I think it would be nice to have this in DIVA too
Cheers

Sorry if it's already been asked but can you update your vst to disable the mouse pointer when the mouse change a knob or a value, so the mouse it's still in the same position when the knob is released?
Sorry for my english,

I've done that once, but didn't like it. That was back on MacOS X 10.2.maurone dj wrote:Sorry if it's already been asked but can you update your vst to disable the mouse pointer when the mouse change a knob or a value, so the mouse it's still in the same position when the knob is released?

We may add it as an option in a future version, but it depends on how well it works in current OSes.

is there any chance an option could be added to MFM2 to *unlink* particular feedback values in the user matrix from the global feedback amount? often i want a feedback topology where some but not all feedback amounts are fixed. seems like this would be quite useful and not too hard to fit into the current ui. please? thanks in any case for the xcool tool u-he! enjoy! /dan

Not really, I'm afraid. You can only modulate individual feedbacks in the User Feedback Matrix using the ModMatrix.bangzero wrote:is there any chance an option could be added to MFM2 to *unlink* particular feedback values in the user matrix from the global feedback amount?

Unfortunately PitchBend is a drop down menu. Double-clicking doesn't work on these.Adrian B wrote:My suggestion is to set pitchbend up/down, transpose to 0 by double-clicking.
But transpose, yes, I agree, should default to 0.

that is disappointing. so, is there any general way in MFM2 to do something like a simple ping-pong delay where the left & right echos have the same volume, with variable feedback overall? i do see that the ModMatrix or MidiLearn can do this sort of thing by moving selective feedback control outside the MFM2 box. thanks for that concept. but it would be quite nice to have this built in. maybe in MFM3? :^) enjoy! /danUrs wrote:Not really, I'm afraid. Set feedback from "Proportional" to "Linear". That makes feedback independent of delay length.bangzero wrote:is there any general way in MFM2 to do something like a simple ping-pong delay where the left & right echos have the same volume, with variable feedback overall?
Set delay lines 3+4 to 0 output
Set delay lines 1+2 to mono input, pan them hard left and right
Let delay 1 do 1/4 note taps while delay 2 does 1/8 notes
in the User Feedback Matrix, set evertyhing to zero, but let delays 1 and 2 get feedback from only (!) delay 1
-> classical ping pong delay, both taps equally loud.
(and I was so proud of my proportional feedback which gives smoothly decaying taps in any kind of feedback configuratiuon)

sweet technique! thanks. seems i need to think outside the box a bit more. still, selective feedback control would be nice someday. and so sorry that proportional feedback came up short this time. :^) it is xcool in lots of other situations though. enjoy! /danUrs wrote:[...]

am I right in thinking that there is no way to modulate the envelope time, or attack time in diva, except the keyboard tracking that scales the whole envelope?
I would really like to modulate attack time, or whole envelope scaling with velocity, or indeed any other modulator.
could the keyboard tracking envelope slider be modified to be a drop down modulation source menu?
