Not the most tech-savvy here and still relatively new to the DAW world. Upgraded to the new Mulab release and all of a sudden none of my VST instruments are being recognized as valid. Any suggestions?

Thanks for a quick response! Not sure if I'm doing it properly. Googling the Mutools docs doesn't give me an answer when I search for "vst rescan". Using the "Manage VST plugins" tab and adding the plugins in question gives me a "LoadLibray ...failed, msw error" message.

Yes that's the vst scan i mean. Are you trying to add 64 bit vst plugins on a 32 bit system?

Without looking I'd say no. My system is a 64 and these worked ok in the v4. Perhaps the only difference is I downloaded the 64 bit version this time for v5.

Oh sorry i was incomplete: Also 32 bit plugins don't load in a 64 bit system. Two possible solutions:
1) Make sure you have the 64 bit version of the vst plugin.
2) Use jBridge: http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/

Would it be a feasible option to simply reload v5 as a 32 bit? That was adequate in v4. Again, thanks for timely responses!

Yes, if all your vsts are 32 bit, using M5 32 bit is a good solution too!texasrobert wrote:Would it be a feasible option to simply reload v5 as a 32 bit? That was adequate in v4.
