> Hello Vojtech, i'm glad to see some activity in here.:)
The new filter modes and the addition of saturation and drive to the filter in the wobbler are really cool ! Crazy sounds lol.
I would suggest adding the saturation and drive to the standard filter processor and adding panorama to each filter and series/parallel wiring for filters 1 and 2 of the wobbler (see fabfilter volcano features for vst comparison and sherman filterbank for hardware comparison).
Can the phase difference parameter of the wobbler lfo be added to all type of modulators ?

> It would be great if the MXXX oscilator could respond to polyphonic midi, especially now that a very good audio to midi plugin has been released.
This would mean any instrument player can just use the audio to midi vst and MXXX and it will cover everything from FX to synth !
A few months ago, i think there was some talk about one MXXX for audio and MYYY for synth. Well, I'd rather have one huge MXY than two seperate vst's !!

> A suggestion for the ratio processor : another mode between "transition" and "constant volume" or maybe user adjustable curve ?

Maybe the patch cables could be green and red, or totally different colors from blue and black.

> I have another suggestion for the step sequencer shapes, basically maybe the shapes could be based "on half the value of the step" or "2/3 of the value of the step" in addition of being based on zero, but i'll get back to you on that one because i will need to draw graphs to explain this.

Thanks for the new updates and i'll be back as soon as i can find the time to do those graphs !
:hihi:

Basic sequencer pattern with half step indications :

Same Basic sequencer pattern using this shape

and based on zero = VERY EXTREME

Same Basic sequencer pattern using the same shape and based on "central" zero = STRANGE
Image

Same Basic sequencer pattern using the same shape and based on "half step value", the resulting curve is less extreme than on the first based on zero example, it is very useful in my opinion.

It could be half step, or it could be 2/3 step or it could be a user adjustable percentage of the sep value...
And This can be transposed to all the other shapes of course !

Hey and thanks!

You are talking about MXXX and the wobbler has not actually been added! So shhhh :). There's no reason to add drive/pan to filter, because you can put it before or after it! ;) That's the beauty of MXXX.

No polyphonic MOscillator, but the first synth is actually being finished, and maybe it will be added to MXXX after all. But the true MYYY will be way more complex.

Ratio - well, it can be done, but quite frankly I'm against it. If you really need something that creepy you can simulate it using multiparameters ;).

Connection colors - I'll check ;).

Step sequencer - check the "Base on 0%" button in the title ;).

Well, a filter without drive is like a car without an engine, they go hand in hand. :) You fine tune the drive with the resonance with the gain etc, for convenience, it really makes sense to have them all at hand together in the same user interface.

There's definitely some interesting things with the new filter modes !

Cool, congrat on the synth, that's good news. :)

Yep i've noticed this button, but it's not always good because the "central zero" really changes/reverses the profile of the pattern. I think you'll understand what i mean with the graphs posted above. :)

And here is a video trying to show the difference between the two sequencer settings when the output value goes back to zero, and then a setting where the output value stays within a gently scaling down step ladder at 0"38sec...
HERE

Another solution, same pattern as above but based on a percentage of max step value, in this example it's 10%.

The purpose of all this is to get an output value that does not go back to zero at the start of each step to be able to do subtle "slowly gliding up or down the ladder" type of stuff.
