Indeed... it is interesting how some of the modular routing and tools lend themselves to organic sounds... I'd really like to get a cat meow in Bazille... When it comes to animal sounds I'm still a complete novice... except for bird tweets, which are easy... hehxh3rv wrote: Actually for CV-ish processing, I've gotten a few really nice sounds with the extra parameters on a filters versus lag ... Drive and resonance and cutoff modulation can do really organic things to an LFO or envelope.
ACE love!

Use your imagination: "misuse" isn't a technique, it's a philosophy.TomTwohy wrote:Now, how does this "misuse" of the LFO (or Filters) manifest itself? Does one use feedback loops? split patching? unusual settings? VOODOO?

Hmm, OK... I made some VERY fun drones just now by shoving... erm... "patching" the VCO into the VCO mix and the VCF LPN4 out into the ADSR vcf1... hole.
Very ernest roar that drone... used the modwheel on the VCF to bring it under heel.
Not really sure, but if not knowing what you're doing is a "plan"... I agree, it works pretty well!
Just hoping for some principals to add method to the ...madness!

Hahaha! THIS! ACE makes this kind of fun so easy. You don't have to worry:
You can't break anything inside ACE.
I just recommend to turn down the volume when doing things like this.
