It is not a matter of turning MIDI to audio. The MIDI event is being recorded wrong. Audio PLAYBACK of the MIDI event reflects how it is recorded erroneously, although the LIVE event is simultaneously being played correctly through my headphones/speakers while recording said MIDI event.

Also, not using asio4all. As I stated above, using a USB MIDI device and MME audio (on board Windows audio driver) that feeds out of my audio jack on my laptop.

Ok, so haven't tried working with another DAW yet on this system but interestingly enough, I tried recording a sequence while manually playing via the virtual keyboard. Still did the same thing that the USB keyboard did.

Please try using Asio4All. Does that make a difference?
