Receptor Remote connection problems and self-test error codes

1. I need some assistance as I am unable to connect my Receptor 2 Pro to my Asus eeePC (Running Windows XP sp3) via Crossover cable. The connection & Remote Viewer works just fine on my Mac Pro but for some reason I cannot connect on the PC. Is there anything I should change in the Network settings to make it work?

2. I went through the 1.9 release notes and came across the section on Self-Test Diagnostics. When I ran all of the tests, everything passed except the following:

Check Updates = Error 1

Also, the first time I did a self-test I selected "check all" and it came up with Error 17 and then Error 15.

According to the release notes, Plugorama.com should have information on what these error codes indicate but I have searched the site and come up empty-handed.

My unit has seemed a bit buggy since the last OS update but I resolved the majority of that by deselecting "Dual Core enabled". However, I do still get occasional crashes that make me question the reliability for live use.
