I really hope some of you may know the solution for this.

I made a really simple 2 single osc lead patch in duophonic mode, then i heard
the clicks and i was searching what's causing them.

The Env amp attack was 23, the osc restart button was on, but dosn't helped to switch it off.

Finally i found it's OK if i use amp release time less than 11 !!! ?

If it's just a bit over that the clicks coming back.
So as you guess i'm not that happy with that release time.

I know there is some special behaving in this mode for the Oscillators (1-3, and 2-4) I tried to use every variation but the clicks was still there.

No cliks in any of the other modes. (poly, legato, restart)

Any thoughts?

Ok, I looked at it and it's indeed not nice (the clicks - the patch itself is beautiful!)

I don't have an immediate solution. What happens is, the filter gets reset when a new note is played ina voice. This creates a click if that voice is still audible. Duophonic mode is the only mode in Zebra that stays on the same voice for every note.

When this was coded for ACE and later for Diva, it wasn't a problem because ACE and Diva don't need to reset filters. Zebra's filter however are rather old and might need to be resetted.

What you can try to do is use a filter in the FX-section. That may work better, because those filters don't reset either.

I also think you should switch off Attack Smoothing... not sure...

(yet another reason to start on Z3 soon)

Thank you for the fast advice Urs, worked like a charm.

I can even use a bit filter controlled cliks in a musical way! :tu: 8)
