Only artistic mediocrity without persona want to sound like someone else.

Of Course there's something good about other composers that we want to apply in our work - but attempt to 100 % copy someone else style - its pathetic for me.

And Hans is wrong IMO... You can sound like someone else - but when your level of knowledge is that high - You don't desire to sound like someone else.
