I'm talking about Band-shelf A and Band-shelf B. Am I wright?

If so, could someone (who has an account at gearslutz.com, because I have a problem with the registration there) post about the fact (with a screenshot) in this topic at:
http://www.gearslutz.com/board/new-prod ... nalog.html

Please spread the word.

P.S. I'm demoing plugins from this company again, and I think they're extremely powerful, easy to use and the sound is superb. I'd just prefer the GUIs without those old school deep bevels/embosses like it was in 90s.

All the best,
Paul

So there is something that Melda hasn't copied? I'm surprised.

Ah wait, also don't forget to spread the word that another plugin copied his token graphics :)

is there anything in the world that anyone has come up with on their own, without copying anyone?
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

yes but it's very very rare. I could count only 2 or 3 things that I made that (I believe) didn't already more or less exist. However Melda's business is to take everything that exists & make a multiband version of it, so I'm surprised (but not really, because we all know that a ton of EQs have done that before).

that's how innovation works - 90% incremental, 9% reapplied, 1% radical :-) tweakers are just as important.

Aaaaah, Tony creating good image for ImageLine as usual :D.
You still work for them? If you'd work for me, you'd be fired now :D.

PS. Tony before you start being rude as usual, check our plugins. Of course there are many things that already existed, but I'm pretty sure we have more unique stuff here than most other companies. Complaining about our eq band circles looking similar to yours? :D You're just pathetic...

Now to the real topic - yes, our dynamic eqs are the first to have the adjustable slope filters, but it was only a matter of time before someone clones it (or makes something similar, I didn't really check the mentioned product yet). No big deal ;).

Let's be honest and serious for one moment:

The DDMF Colour EQ had "the revolutionary Character Control" implemented for years, if I'm not totally mistaken. There is nothing new or revolutionary about this "AirEQ". Switching between different phase responses is a cruical part of DDMF LP10.

I've just seen that it's the MeldaProduction section, so I will add that I'm pretty sure that the Melda EQs have all these features aswell :)

I never heard about ColorEQ, but from the description it looks similar indeed. Who knows what else is burried in the depths of the internet... :D

Quickly checking to see what it's all about (I saw you've changed the ripped graphics, funny), it's just a peaking EQ shape made out of a high & low-shelf? Amazing unseen-before technology there, next you can only come up with a fusion reactor to top this.
Who knows what else is burried in the depths of the internet...
it's called humility, or experience, to assume or to be aware that everything you (& I) ever come up with, has been done before. Unless it's something really really complex that took you 20 years of research, maybe. But if it's an idea you came up with in your bath, hundreds of people came with the same idea in their bath, & possibly even came up with the theory a century ago before computers.

When you think Melda only makes Multiband Versions of existing Plugins, then you do not never really a objective critical look on the Product Range of Melda.
E.G. The GUI is really innovative. Most of the Melda Plugins goes a step beyond in many functions and workflow. E.G. The DynamicEQ was the first DynamicEQ with flexible capabilities. (Should nobody does make a DynamicEQ because there is already one exist?)

I'm not associated with Melda. I have not the whole product range. But I think it is very disrespect to say Melda only makes Multiband Versions of existing Plugins. Honest said I think Melda gave the Plugin Industrie a new impulse in many ways.
It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

so your point is?
That "yes, our dynamic eqs are the first to have the adjustable slope filters, but it was only a matter of time before someone clones it" is pretentious (AND funny considering that he did some pure clone[I would add an s but I don't know his other plugins enough] himself, and by clone I mean GUI & presets too)

Should nobody does make a DynamicEQ because there is already one exist?
I'd argue that it's just another fancy name for a multiband compressor, but I don't care.

OK, so Vojtec wasn't aware of that particular plugin, so what? you started trashing him before he ever said anything in this thread. so, again, what is your point? that you suck just as much as he does for coming up with something someone else has already come up with?

i happen to agree with you on that one, but that is beside the point. Sonalksis did dynamic EQ's too (way before Melda), would you trash them too?
