Native Instruments Monark s very interesting, but do not forget anout Uhe Diva, but i think they can be noth very cool because they share the sametop of the line DSP modeeling technology, but u know that even 2 the same Moogs might not sound identical, so i think they can be both good but just with a different sound flavor, but another reson why Monark can be a good addition to Uhe Diva is that it can be used in Reaktor with all it's possibilities and i can even modifi it.

So i think both are great Uhe Diva and NI Monark

Well, not just hype. There's always hearsay, unfounded speculation, wishful thinking and the occasional shot in the dark to consider, as well.

But I'm sure it'll wipe the floor with Diva, cause NI's got circuit-modelled modelled circuits and zero-degree filters and phasers set to stun and such.

This is even more hilarious considering the rejection letter Urs has from Native Instruments, next to the letter some time later asking to hire him.

As much as I love NI products, and they do make some great ones, I highly doubt they will surpass DIVA with Monark. Time will tell.

Reaktor doesn't have its "inherent sound" or whatever you want to call it if you use the basic DSP building blocks in Core. It can sound however you want it to, if you know how (the black DSP magic).

Have to agree, NI make excellent products but the audio demos I heard sounded more like Massive than Moog.
