Saving & Loading presets in specific folders

Hi there,

Since I had some unfortunate accidents with a DAW "forgetting" settings of plugins, I now make a habit of storing (a copy of) every sound I use in the project folder.

Saving a preset works without problem.

However : how do you load such a preset again ?

I haven't found any way to do so, they don't show up in the brower, and - unlike the partial presets - there's no "default button" in the editing GUI to recall them.

Checked the quick manual, but didn't find it - am I missing something ?

Actually, SynthMaster stores the folders you save the presets in its config file. Then adds those paths to its search paths while showing presets in the browser.

Do you have the latest version? Is this MacOSX or Windows?

Could you paste the contents of the file

I checked the config file, here are the last line :

The "LastUserPresetsFolder" referes to one I used two days ago.
However the last preset I saved was this afternoon, in a different folder ...

(I was working in two different Ableton Live versions at the time, maybe that has something to do with it ???)

PS : by the way : it would be practical to be able to open the actual folder containing the preset from within the browser OR preset pane // also to drag & drop a preset from the file system
