Are you physically assaulting me Howard?
What have I done my good man
Or are there new presets coming and 'someone' hasn't finished sending the presets?
hmmmm

Heh-heh - no, it's just that extra pressure isn't required right now, the new round of betas will be arriving soon. BTW I've been making new Diva sounds today. Fun!zvenx wrote:Are you physically assaulting me Howard?

I think it's exciting that there are so many quality tools to choose from, and that the entry barrier to producing music is so low. One may find a certain tool is more applicable in one situation than another. Computer synths are very convenient, and on the other hand hardware analog has the appeal of the tangible (hardware knobs are a big win!). (I would certainly like to get my hands on a Moog sub Phatty, for example.)thermal wrote:Of course, otherwise I would be insane to suggest there was one! I am only talking about the example of Diva and Nebula/AlexB Moog Filter combined. It is possible to have analog and digital sounds so similar it is impossible to tell them apart, depends on what type of sound it is.zvenx wrote:so you think you can tell the difference if you heard a file of each?

I am really interested in all this stuff, great thread on gearslutz! After the next Diva release I will try to do a good blog post with lots of audio examples of Diva/Nebula and SRC. I will have some kind of 'can you hear the difference' blind test and see what people think.
But really, I think a musician's own special sound comes from how they use the tool, not what the tool is.

Yes, it works, thanks Howard!Howard wrote:Possible workaround for the time being: When this happened in non-beta versions, we didn't have to reload the host - try changing the global "Voices" to something else, then back again. Screw having to reload Cubase, where's the panic button? Please

These stuck notes are becoming a real pain though.
When your project contains mostly Zebras... OVERLOAD!!

Hello
I would have a rather dumb qestion : if older versions of Zebra and Uhbiks runs fine so far on my system, should I update anyway ?
- Is there any new exciting feature (despite some bugfixes) that i should crave for ?
- My biggest concern is to loose my preset files organization (i removed several of them, etc) : is it safe to instal on top of such a custom setting ?
Thank you in advance

Well, I'll bet you don't have a cape like this, virtual or otherwise:Vertti wrote:VB3 sounds good but looks bad. And I only need the rotary speaker because I have everything else covered.EvilDragon wrote:There's GSi VB3 as the best Hammond/Leslie emulation out there. Quite cheap, and you get an FX version of the plugin too, so you can run audio through it.

So, what up with the Uhbik beta? I can't see my neck now for the beard I've been growing while I wait.

I think the positive thing to come out of this is you are now the top result when Googling for "uhbik beard"antithesist wrote: So, what up with the Uhbik beta? I can't see my neck now for the beard I've been growing while I wait.
