Hey everyone, I created this account solely for the reason of solving this problem, so pardon my "forum etiquette", as I don't know what information you usually need on here.
I bought Cyclop yesterday, and have been working on a track since I bought it. I have really enjoyed the mangling capabilities that Cyclop has, and have been basically finding presets I like, and altering them. Each of the patches I have been using is significantly varied from its original patch... I am about 6 hours deep in this session. and then.....
ALL MY SOUNDS just CHANGED. No idea why, or how... I hit play, it played back fine, I hit play again, and all of the sounds became very "chorus-y, detuned, messy". I can't really quantify it more than that. Having recently saved, I closed and opened the session to find the problem still existed. I even went to a previous version of the session, to no avail. In a final effort to solve the problem, I created another instance of Cyclop and loaded a preset I had created from one of the earlier patches, and it too was messed up....
So it seems like I did some global change that is screwing everything that Cyclop knows.... anyone else have this problem? any ideas on how to solve it?
If you would like me to post audio examples, I can... just not sure how to do that on here. Thanks
Some info about my system... I am running Logic Pro 9 on a superpowered iMac using Snow Leopard. I have a MOTU896mk3 interface.... I'll just let someone respond with what specs they need if necessary.
Thanks

Hi, we found that bug. It is the chorus effect which powers itself on whenever Cyclop is started.
The workaround is to adress the "chorus 3" with the fx knob or fx sequencer.
After chorus 3 has been activated and deactivated, you have your original sound back.
If the fx sequencer is running and adressing the chorus3 anyway, the problem fixes itself as soon as chorus 3 has been used.
This bug is really annoying, but we already fixed it.
The upcoming Cyclop 1.1. update will deliver the fix and also a brand new
preset handler with tagging, rating and more fun!

Please download and install again.
To make sure that the plugin will be updated, delete the plugin manually
before you reinstall and check ableton if the plugin is really gone.

Hi
thanks for your reply but,
I deleted manually, redownloaded and reinstalled. still the same.
It show 1.1.1 in the cyclop vst. (like before)
it does the same bug in the AU version.
I deleted the preferences files, the presets folder, app folder and component/ VST. Maybe I forgot some files ?

We just uploaded a new pc version. Please check this one.
It also loads presets faster, because now analysis files are
created for the samples loaded into the transformer oscillator.
Mac version coming later this week.
@billyvandubstep: It should be the chorus bug. Activate, then deactivate Chorus3 in the FX sequencer, after you reloaded the project to get the pure sound back..

Why can't you be clear about those updates? Is this update newer than the pc one from a couple of days ago?

hmm that should be fixed by the latest upload...
maybe delete the nadine folder in documents/sugar bytes
and then reinstall the latest upload...
