Yes, this one is FINALLY on the way!

Many folks have asked me in the past to be able to use the MIDI output of the arpeggiators inside SM!

Wait for v2.6, I will hopefuly release that tomorrow, with 250 new presets, including Rob Lee's new factory presets AND SynthMasterCM/BE factory presets from Rob Lee, Aiyn Zahev, Nori Ubukata and Michael Kastrup!

Also, starting with v2.6, SM will load SynthMasterCM/BE presets AND users will be able to browser the online browser for SynthMasterCM/BE presets!

Great news!

I was going to sell synthmaster, but it just keeps getting better, so Im most probably gonna end up keeping it.

I read elsewhere on this forum that you were going to include synthmaster cm/be skins in a future update. Any chance of these being included in the upcoming update?

well the presets will be included, but I have a little more work to make those skins work with SM. So they wont make in the 2.6 update.

I recently got SynthMaster and have no intention of parting with it. It's a great instrument for mixing different timbres, and while MIDI output isn't that interesting to me, I think it's a good development. I'm sure there are people that can make pretty good use of it...

it seems that the midioutput only works for the vst-version, not for the AU..

Havent tested with AU though. The AU version uses a wrapper, so apparently the wrapper doesnt support vst midi output.

Does this also mean you can't drag midi files in to the arp in the AU version?

No you can. try to do it from the menu: Click on the arp presets menu that says "Reset to defaults".

Ahh, I just needed more coffee...
Tried it and it didn't work... But was trying to drag the mp3 sample in instead

If MIDI import doesnt work please send me the MIDI file.

Please note that the import is not perfect, it accepts either monophonic input OR chords (notes that start at the same time)
