Yes i know that if there are no bugs left to eradicate and no more features planned then the beta status of the software gets "upgraded" to RC even if there are no real upgrades to the softwareTale wrote:Yeah, I know, that's not really like me... I have just released Combo Model V version 1.2.1.
Changes (since version 1.2.0):
Changes (since version 1.2.0):
- Added 2-channel switch, which splits flute/reed or bass/treble output
- Fixed slightly irregular values when reacting to MSB/LSB CCs

I have recently received two seperate reports of Combo Model V not working in Logic Pro 9.1.8. Perhaps both cases are simply caused by user error, but it would be nice to know for sure. So, can anyone confirm that the latest versions of Combo Model V and/or F work in Logic Pro 9.1.8? Thanks in advance!

I don't have Logic, but, if it's of any help, I do have the latest version of Mainstage 2 (which I presume uses the same basic engine?), and they seem to be fine there.
I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.

I've downloaded the most recent versions, and they both work fine in Logic 9.1.8, OSX 10.8.3.Tale wrote:I have recently received two seperate reports of Combo Model V not working in Logic Pro 9.1.8. Because it obviously is possible to use Combo Model V in Logic 9.1.8, does anyone happen to have an idea why it isn't working in this case:

Not really. I've tested both models in 32 and 64 bit mode, and they just work. 10.6.8 is not that different from 10.8.3, isn't it?
The problem might be in Logic's AU cache, of course. My advice to this user would be:
1. Remove all Combo plugins from ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ *and* from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
2. Install latest versions in one place (I prefer the system directory; I've had slightly odd results with AU Lab when they were placed in the user directory)
2. Open Logic's AU manager (Logic > Preferences > Audio Unit Manager) to make sure that the Combo plugins are not in the list, or -if they are in the list- that they are checked. Logic ignores the plugins without the check mark. If one of the plugins lacks the check mark, select it and click "Reset and scan selection".
PS Tussen twee haakjes: mooi gemaakt!

The issue has been resolved, apparently starting Logic in 64-bit fixed it.Tale wrote:Because it obviously is possible to use Combo Model V in Logic 9.1.8, does anyone happen to have an idea why it isn't working in this case:
