Hi Urs, some suggestions:

More and easier control of unison and stereo parameter of voices (Diva - Main or Trimmer Tab)
A search by category / name, I could pay for it xD (Diva - Ace - Zebra - ZebraHZ)
sync button for right & left delay and values (Diva - Effect Tab)
ADSR assignable to single voice noise included (Diva)
Arpeggiator (chord mode incl) / Step Sequencer :O (Diva)

Alexander.

Alexander,

Some of this is planned (Arpeggiator, some type preset search).

I'm also going to tidy up the Trimmers page as we're adding more options.

In think the Delay can Sync already. I think it lacks the button to "unsync" it.

We haven't made noise volume modulatable because simply, none of the original vintage synths have this feature. But we're evaluating such ideas, if they don't break with the Spirit.

OMG!!

I have been thinking about the microtuning feature in, e.g., Diva, ACE. I think along with loading the tuning file, we need a way to specify the base note of the custom tuning.

For example, if I used a tuning file that is 12-TET except the fifth is flat, if the base note is C, then G will be flat, but if the base note is changed to D, then A will be flat.

The option is available in a few other VST synths that support custom tuning and devices like electric pianos that usually support custom tuning along with choosing the base note for the scale.

Hermode tuning in Zebra?

Not sure. I guess the license cost requires much higher unit sales than we have. Like CopperLan and other fee-based add ons, I'm not quite sure if we really need it, let alone justify effort and expense.

We might however add dynamic tuning via MIDI and NoteExpressions, so that Hermode is available automatically in Cubase and Logic.

Post

i'm skeptical about hermode, but i would like dynamic note tuning.

i would like more flexible modulation in diva in general.

envelope time modulation, modulation of envelope level by other parameters than velocity.

Post

Just curious - anyone know if Cubase/Logic do any sort of microtonality via note expression? Seems like the 'right' way, IMHO ...

Didn't realize it was proprietary.

As I only have 1 wheel available: Is it possible to unbind the pitch wheel from bending the pitch?

Set pitchbend amount to 0

And where can I do that?
I'm not really familiar with Diva yet. I'm using the demo version of r1459.

In the tuning section... you will see two values: 'up' and 'down'. Those are pitchbend up and down. Set them both to 0

Any chance of slightly extending the modulation possibilities in DIVA? I'm missing a way to modulate the volume-knob of each oscillator. Seems like a simple feature - yet it's missing?
music // twolegs // geometriae
sounddesign // twolegstoneworks

a heavy +1 for a mod matrix! it's basically the gateway to new sounds.
