I have always found Uncle E / JRRshop totally reliable and honest brokers. If you order from another country (for me, outside the EU) then you will most likely get stung for import duties and it is not the fault of the retailer. To get an idea of whether the 'bargain' you are ordering from abroad is really going to work out to be a bargain, use this:

Don't despair - often it will still be worth ordering from abroad :-) but at least you will know the likely full price.

JRR seems to be very reliable in my opinion as well.

However, in this case, it seems like taxes were applied twice? When I order from outside the EU, I always pay for a product excluding VAT/taxes and this is then applied when the package reaches the country (i.e. in Sweden you pay 25% [for most things at least] VAT of the cost of the product and the shipping, customs fixed amount and customs fee etc).

I just looked at it a minute ago, and it's at $79 now.

good morning,

just woke up, received answer from MF. Saying nothing about not shipping out the US. But now the price went up, while I was waiting for answer :(.

Toxic Biohazard can be shipped outside the US, but not Sugarbyte Effectrix. That's nonsense for me -- because I wanted to buy Effectrix as I already have Toxic. :(

Pretty good rebate as Sonivox is selling it for $200

Thanks for the heads up Numanoid. I jumped on this but I haven't heard much about Pulse. Watched the videos and it looks like a cool tool. Anybody own Pulse ? Comments ? :)

Has anyone bought the Toxic Biohazard + Effectrix Bundle and wants to sell his Effectrix code?

I refunded you.
I live in London paid JRRSHOP for shipping and taxes
You didn't pay for taxes.
Not only that but they (JRRSHOP)increased the value on their invoice by a further $57 more than I paid for the product
Yes, my shipping department made a mistake and declared it for 25% too high. I refunded you for that mistake.
there was no indication of further charges in their checkout!
There were no further charges from us.
JRRSHOP is the first overseas company that I have experienced hidden charges
There were no hidden charges.
even though I regularly buy from the states, it seems JRRSHOP is known to carry out this practice so I've been told!
You're the only person who's ever reported to me that we declared a package too high.
After over 3 weeks of being given the runaround by Uncle Erik & JRRSHOP I have given up as he changes his response day by day week by week so you have been warned!
I have been fighting Fed Ex on your behalf to get the charges lowered. We'll keep on working on your behalf despite your treatment of us.

He paid for shipping, not taxes. We didn't charge him any taxes at all.

Yes, this is what has occurred.

Thank you for clarifying the issue!

If I new I was going to be charged an extra £43/$98 I would not have gone ahead an ordered! There was no warning I would be charged more than the shipping and taxes I saw on your checkout! I had to suggest to you after some weeks that I be compensated for the higher invoice amount being demanded from FedEx ! I explained to you I have never been asked to pay extra charges before despite buying overseas for many years! Had you settled this some weeks ago I would have been reassured but this dragged on too long! I have paid FedEx what they demanded I pay! I suggest you make it absolutely clear the extra cost of buying from JRRSHOP if they are from UK! I looked at your checkout site and I could not find any mention of the extra costs to be added to final cost of buying from you which suggests to that this cost was HIDDEN! Let me repeat I have now paid the further costs associated with buying from you so no need to chase FedEx for me! Thank you for the $16 partial refund I just wish you had done this 3 weeks ago. I won't stop buying digital downloads from JRRSHOP as I haven't incurred any excess charges but I won't have any thing shipped from you, once bitten twice shy!

but surely its up to the buyer to be aware of potential customs charges, not the seller to research and declare for every single potential country that the customer may be from?
you might not have got stung before, but I think that just means you got lucky.
