Just stumbled onto this topic and haven't read all the posts...

Will this software run on a desktop pc? Do I need to buy hardware for it?
Can I use it without a mobile device?

Perhaps you should read at least some of the comments.
Visit http://www.avantgardesound.com/

Personally I can't wait till enChord 2 come out on a native iPad app. And better yet when it will run for an Windows touch screen.

I have some feature requests but do not know where to post them. Not sure why AvantgardeSound made not comment on where to post FR. I know they are very busy and maybe they are not interested at least for the present any suggestions for features to be added to enChord.

I was thinking for some people that wanted enChord to be a VST. Well this is easy though may require a small investment!

Bidule http://www.plogue.com/products/bidule/
and EnergyXT http://www.energy-xt.com/index.php?id=0101 are two examples but there may be others.

These programs can run as a stand-alone or as a VST or VSTi inside a DAW. They can also host VST and VSTi's. Both Bidule and XT can run from the IN in Cubase or other DAW's. They can also have a module which is the midi input from channel one to 16. These channels can be the output from Enchord or any other controller. Inside Bidule and XT the channel module out can then be routed to VST or VSTi's as you wish.

Actually I recanted  or should I say a partial recant. 8) On "enChord Feature Requests" http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 12#5283312 on the first post.

"One. Please, Please! First come out with a Windows 7 and/or 8 touch screen or MS Surface enChord 2 then proceed with the IPad version. From all the tablets it seem to me that iPad is the least desirable for music."

So, more accurately, I can't wait for enChord 2 to be released (for Windows 7/8 or native iPad) :D

If we purchase the lemur version, will we get the normal ipad version for free? I really want this app, but don't want to end up paying twice.

Post

I guess as with most companies, the iPad standalone version is taking longer than they wanted? Or maybe expected? Just anxious to get this and start using it.

Post

I would be great if they come out with a 12" iPad.

My feeling is that enChord can use more real estate.

Does enChord have a built in synth? :?:

What's happening with this App? The website seems not to work and the app itself can't be found in the App Store?

Any one know?

This is not an App but a Lemur template. The page mentions an upcoming standalone App but I wouldn't bet on it ever seeing the light of day. I wrote to the support email recently with a question about the template but the address seems to be gone and I never got an answer. Only the "Buy Now" button still works
I'd be very careful before you send any money there.

This link works from my machine
http://www.avantgardesound.com/
so does BUY NOW.

I suppose they are still in Business and
Getting ready to introduce Version 2.
No word from the firm for countless months.
They no longer participate in this or any
forum. They should let us know that they are
alive and doing hopefully well.
