Cheers for starting the thread Irion and also for being concerned for me Bjporter. I'm fine barring a cold, just had an extended Easter holiday.

If there's trouble with Aalto Solo registration or password, try using the original German page, not the translated one.

Not sure about direct links to the program even though it needs registration to work so maybe take them down for the time being Bjporter.

K, done. Your later remarks - does that mean I need an internet connection on my DAW for it to work?

What's up with the beat drive site? I can't get anything to work. The AaltoBeatEditionMacInstall unzips to 0k. I'm assuming the Solo version is a free or player type version?

Anyone get this to install on OS X?

Create an account and it should download fine.
Working in logic OSX.8.3
64 bit too(:

The beat edition or solo has just one voice instead of four.
The full version demo has a reminder every minute and no preset saving.
Been playing with the solo for a bit, and while it only had the 1 voice, you can still get some very deep evolving sounds from it. Good fun, I might have a crack this month.

Hmm, that's weird, i don't remember this synth having a huge CPU usage. Which equip do you use?
Aalto CM version will be this month. 24 April to be exact.
