What receptor should I choose?

Hello. My name is Silviu and I recently discover the vst world. I wanna use vst sounds to replace the sounds of my keyboard. I have an arranger keyboard, so I'll use at liest 10 live tracks on each song. My question is: if I use vst instruments, for example: studio drummer (1.5 Gb),superior drummer(1gb) Alicia Keys piano (500mb), Funk guitar (200mb),Scarbee bass (200mb),Ivory piano(1 gb),and other synths (1gb)...all of these at the push of one button to be recalled. What receptor I need, because I use about 5gb LIVE!

Hi Silviu, welcome to KVR Audio.
You have posted this in the general "getting started" section which is for everything except Receptor hardware. Better post the question again in the Muse Research forum where I'm sure it will get the attention it deserves. Or maybe a kind moderator can move it there?
edit: I'm sure you have seen the Overview page and judging from that you're best off with a model with 8GB RAM (any but the first two listed.) However, I'm not sure weather your plugins do disk streaming, which reduces memory consumption greatly. Usually you don't need the whole library in memory, only the parts you actually play.

Hi Silviu,
Based on your needs above, I would recommend you look at the Receptor TRIO. This is the brand new model and features 8GB RAM and a Quad-Core processor - this will handle everything you need and more.
You may be able to get away with a Receptor VIP, but I personally wouldn't risk it. If you know you're going to be running CPU and RAM hungry plugins, it's always best to look above and beyond what you need. Plugin libraries and requirments are only getting bigger...
The other bonus with the TRIO is you get a bundled PreSonus AudioBox 1818VSL interface - this gives you 18 inputs and outputs from the Receptor, rather than the standard stereo outputs on the VIP.
Of course, you could also look at the Receptor QU4TTRO if you really wanted to be future-proof.

I have not been able to get Alicia Keys to work correctly on my Receptor 2 plus...just fyi

The sizes you mentioned are a bit off - the American Grand for Ivory 2 alone is over 40 gb of hard drive space.
My standard comment on buying a Receptor is that as along as you are happy with the software that can currently be installed you will be satisfied with it. Don't expect the newest software to be installable. And definitely do not buy software unless you are sure it will install, I have a copy of Gospel Musicians Rhodes that I cannot install.
I would also recommend having Muse do the software installs if possible, I guess I am not computer savy but I frequently have trouble doing some of the installs.
