Sylenth and our Collective Opinion about its Developer

My opinion: Sylenth - Awesome and unmatched
Lennar - Legend.

You know, I did something really funny last night. Bolstered by two excellent glasses of Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban, I went ahead and bought Sylenth AGAIN. Why did I do that? Because the sound is very singular and unique. I sold it last year, but got a bad case of the regrets. I tried to replicate certain patches in other synths, and none of them worked. Sure, I came close here and there, but the difference was always very audible (not like those wascally Moog emu compawison thweads). It's that fine abrasiveness, the fullness, the (gasp) warmth and the crystal-clear quality... I fell in love all over again.

So, here's to Lennard. It would certainly be great to get a new product at some point, but as far as I am concerned, you gave the world something special, enough to last a lifetime (or for as long as there are computers that will run it).

very cool. i LOVE this synth, just wish it were 64bit AU...it's my ONLY 32bit AU left. at least there's the brdge in Logic (altho it crashes regularly). it IS a great plugin, nothing quite like it...

I would just expect Lennard to be part of his 'own forum'. If he has no care or concern for the KVR community, he should just delete his account. Being so inactive is just plain disrespectful.

A reasonable request - Lennard's last post here was 1/21/2013 although I believe he has answered private support emails since then.
