OK when in legato mode I will get a slide from notes that are "technically" not over lapping, let me make clearer.
Over lapping notes produce a slide.
Notes with visible space between them produce no slide.
Notes that are quantized to length and are next to each other (but not over lapping) ... produce a slide.
This last one is a problem, Diva thinks the notes are overlapping but they aren't. I can just slightly shrink all notes and work from there, but it does make things quite a bit more fiddly and it should not be happening so I thought I'd let you fellas know.
More info : I am using reaper, I also tried to reproduce with Alchemy, I cannot, legato works as it should.
TY, IAYF

That seems similar and perhaps related to the 'hanging' notes issue that could also occur when a note-off is followed by a note-on for the same note number with the same timestamp. Are you using the latest beta (b1459) ?

I am using rev 903. I can't remember if that's the latest official release or not. I seem to remember trying a later rev or the beta and having several crashes. Can you tell me, is 903 the latest official release ?
Maybe I need to update and try again ?

Not sure about 903 being the latest official release, but it definitely still had the hanging notes issue for me. So indeed, I'd suggest trying an update to the latest beta version (which is stable enough for regular use, imho), posted here. (That would probably also be most useful for u-he to debug if the issue should still persist.)iamyourfather wrote:I am using rev 903. I can't remember if that's the latest official release or not. Reckon I'll give that a try, hopefully I won't get the crashes I have a vague recollection of.
Thanks lads

As far as I can tell (on OS X at least), both Diva and REAPER have only gotten a bit more stable with incremental updates (and are generally quite stable). YMMV, of course, so perhaps make a backup before doing anything, just in case. Success!iamyourfather wrote:Reckon I'll give that a try, hopefully I won't get the crashes I have a vague recollection of.

Issue fixed.
Just added 3 more divas to my current project as IIRC the crash I remember happened after adding more than 2 instances. It seems fine, so perhaps it was something else.
Sometimes you'd rather just go back a release and get on with what you are doing than sort out techy stuff :/
