It looks like changing Zebra 2.6 skins crashes Flstudio :(

What Howard said, and if you have an account on our support site, there's a Dark Zebra download that also contains an updated ZebraHZ.

I load Zebra, and try to change of skin (ie dark horse)
It freezes Flstudio, I have to kill it

[EDIT]
I tried on another computer
Same thing, even worse as It froze windows
Though it was a small crappy laptop

What Howard said, and if you have an account on our support site, there's a Dark Zebra download that also contains an updated ZebraHZ.

Thank you for replying! I plan on following Howard's advice. Would I be able to access the new normal 2.6 Zebra's filters while only using the latest ZebraHZ? Or is there now an advantage to using the normal Zebra instead of ZebraHZ? Are there new patches with the 2.6? I am decent at tweaking existing patches, though I rarely build any type of Zebra patch from scratch.

ZebraHZ has it all. The regular Zebra users got this 3 plus filters (TN and 2xMS)what you already have in ZebraHZ. :wink:

Hi Urs,

Does this mean I can uninstall Zebra, move over all the presets into the HZ folder (probably this step first) and just run it all off HZ?

Yes, you could. But you might lose Zebrify, Zebralette etc. in AU/VST3, and if you have old projects with Zebra2, those won't automagically open with ZebraHZ.

The difference is only really important for AU and VST3. Those formats have all plug-ins (Zebra, Zebrify, Zrev, Zebralette, ZebraHZ) in a single binary. Thus installing Zebra over The Dark Zebra removed ZebraHZ - which has caused a lot of confusion during beta testing. By taking ZebraHZ out of this binary, we don't have that problem anymore. If someone with The Dark Zebra updates his Zebra, he'll still have ZebraHZ in his plug-ins list.

Unfortunately this also meant that users of The Dark Zebra hadn't had the 3 Easter-Egg filters in their "normal" Zebra anymore. Which caused confusion again, hence we're putting them into *every* Zebra :)

That said, yes, ZebraHZ will open every Zebra2 preset, and it'll need to be registered with a Zebra2 serial number.

its also happen to me. in fl studio latest beta 32bit. but the standart skin works fine.
