I din't realize it. When I read his post ( speedy read) I though it was more as a suggestion to me to just remove the second function (mute) and keep on going with the single.
Me too I have now some multifunctions going well...

Keep it
(Or make it as an advanced feature as robenestobebz suggested to eliminate newcomers issues).
Now that I'm aware of the problems I just use what works and hope for future development.
