Hi,

I am on mac osx 10.8.3 with Live 9.03 beta version.
I installed Zebra 2 and ZebraHZ.
Problem is that they don't show up as VST in Live.
(They DO show up as AU however)

I did a plugin rescan in Live but doesn't help.
I looked at the permissions of the .vst files but they seemed ok.

Anyone ?

Look at the top of the list, in the U-He folder. That's where they are in Live 9 64 bit.

I'm having the same issue with Zebra2 and Diva. VSTs are no longer showing up in 64-bit Live 9 (9.0.2) after upgrading from 8 on a Mac. It looks like the bundles are 32-bit when I look at the properties in my VST folder - does UHE not support 64-bit for VST on Mac?

Those have 64-bit VST2 versions.

(ZebraHZ is available from your account on our website, usually from within a week or two of purchase)

You gotta hold down [alt] when pressing rescan in Live... makes things show up

I'm using Live 9, 32bit, in OSX Mountain Lion. In Live 9.03, Zebrify VST gives an error message saying that the plugin won't load. In Live 9.04 beta, Zebrify VST doesn't even show up. I've tried to do multiple scans of the VST folder, and I've held down the ALT button while scanning. No success.

The AU works just fine, but I typically don't use AU in order to remain compatible with my PC friends.

I can't comment on Live 9 64bit because I don't have that installed.

Hi, I just answered your support ticket.

I think Ableton is aware of the issue and I hope they'll provide a fix soon. There's a number of technical articles on their website describing similar problems with other VSTs.

It may speed things up if you could also report it to them, and we're happy to assist if they give us a call. They do have all of our software for testing purpose though.

Thanks, Urs. I wanted to post here to see if anyone was experiencing similar issues. I've responded back to your Support ticket and roped in Ableton as well, so hopefully we can get to a speedy resolution.

Well, considering it happens in a Live beta...

And I also think I heard rumours of developers working around a certain issue in Live. Hmmm... pity this wasn't brought to our attention two or three weeks ago... now we have to wait for Ableton to provide a fix.

It seems that the issue started in 9.03 and is also in 9.04beta. Let's hope for a fix from Ableton. Glad you're aware of it.
