We'll hand out a Curve 2 license (or pay back a purchase) to the first person who posts here and sends us a file (via PM or contact@cableguys.de) with hanging notes in Curve 2.0.5 (Cubase, and FruityLoops had been named, but any host and OS will do), or tells us which steps to take to get these hanging notes. Thanks!
Great idea. :)

Too bad I don't have Cubase. :-(

Sorry for the delay, Jakob. I have send you my Cubase CPR file with a buggy CurveCM instrument channel. Good luck with troubleshooting. ;)

Thank you so much! So the hanging notes occur if Curve is set to Mono or Legato mode and Curve is asked to play the same note twice at the same time (so one clip is playing a C3 for example and another clip or a keyboard is playing a C3 too). I am fixing this right now and - a Curve 2 license for you zyguli!

I'm very happy!:] Wish you the best!

Hi,maybe its said already but couldn't find it.
Automating the fatness is resulting in crashing or cpu overload.
Guess this has to do with the difrent parameters it controls , like the voices, detuning, spread, and preset volume. Am i the only one who has trouble with this ? and if not , will this be fixed soon ? great plugin thoug.

Hmm, glad you like Curve, and sorry to hear issues with the Fatness macro. It's working fine here - which OS are you using and which host sequencer?

Curve 2.0.6 is out now, fixing the hanging notes issue. And: 117 pages of presets when you click "Sync" from within Curve, with "everything from thunderous dubstep bass wobbles to shimmering pads, advanced, complex sequences and eerie effects." (MusicTech Magazine, November 2012)

So the latest issue of Beat is out, and the plugin on the DVD is Curve 2 Beat version.

I really do hope that this is different to the Curve 2 CM edition otherwise I will feel a tad disappointed...

It has the same features as Curve 2 CM, but we think it's cool for Beat readers to get it too.

Looking forward to it. :) Is this the latest version then, fixing the stuff mentioned above?

I am not 100% sure, but I think it is still version 2.0.5 (because of DVD deadline) - but you can easily update to version 2.0.6; there's a "Check for Updates" link in the plugin's bottom right corner. And yes, 2.0.6 has all the fixes.

Nice, thanks. :)

Sure :tu:

But many people are now subscribing to both magazines. Would be nice to get some more presets, or something like that, included with the Beat version to distinguish them a little ;)

Curve 2 BE and Curve 2 CM both share the same online preset library.. which is great I think, because if someone shares and uploads a sound with Curve 2 BE, all other users will get that too, no matter if they use Curve 2 BE, Curve 2 CM or the full version of Curve 2 (which can load all presets from the small versions).

So, yes, to distinguish both versions would have been nice, but I think sharing is even better. (Note: They all ship with nice, but smaller, libraries even if you are not online.)

Wow, I hadn't checked out this feature before

Now syncing, and I'm downloading and adding 862 new presets to Curve 2 CM :-o
