I haven't released any more information, but I do hope to rectify that soon with another big teaser. And plenty has changed, for the better: with the module flow being rewritten to accomodate polyphonic MIDI data and sysex, the tentative module list I posted way back is painfully out-of-date.
I would like to put the whole product name thing to rest though: how does everyone feel about Midion? It was the first one suggested that I really liked, and it doesn't seem to clash with any other product.

Architect, the modular MIDI toolkit, beta now available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

a midion ? sounds too much like the state of arousal also commonly referred to as a 'semi'
Pendulum on the other hand is an excellent name

Makes me think it is a MIDI effect only.colin@loomer wrote: I would like to put the whole product name thing to rest though: how does everyone feel about Midion? It was the first one suggested that I really liked, and it doesn't seem to clash with any other product.

Hey Colin,
doesn't matter what you call it, we're all gonna buy it anyway! And you'll never please everyone, so go for it, she's your baby!
Looking forward to meeting her

Architect and Ariadne are both better sounding to me.colin@loomer wrote:I would like to put the whole product name thing to rest though: how does everyone feel about Midion? It was the first one suggested that I really liked, and it doesn't seem to clash with any other product.

A fair point actually, thanks.Makes me think it is a MIDI effect only.
I did like Architect too actually, but I was - perhaps erroneously - concerned that it is too similar to Sony's DVD Architect / CV Architect line. It does have a nice ring to it though. Loomer Architect. I can see that working.

Architect is my favorite suggestion too.colin@loomer wrote:A fair point actually, thanks.Makes me think it is a MIDI effect only.
