I'm looking to make a 303'ey kind of noise from Podolski.
Not expecting miracles, just something resembling it.

So far I have:
- started with init
- wave warp, phase and inv/PWM all at 50% for a square
- resonance up
- cutoff mid

I'm not even close though

Is this as good as I'm gonna get?

Do you want something like this?
IDR - Podolski 303ish

You will need an extra of automations (Such Cutoff/Cutoff Modulation 1 and maybe WarpMod if you want to change the waveform), a real TB-303 is more complex than it seems, slideys, cutoff and envelopes are a bit different than in Podolski, but this would be the best you can get.

Here goes the h2p (Save as...)

Just remember to put the lines in this way so you will have the "slidey" feeling.

The monophonic legato feature will do the rest.

One more "how do I" question if I may: A snare.

Usually I'd reach for a triangle and some noise.
Not sure kow to approach it with just a triangle.

I have tried copious EQing, bit crushing, distortion etc with no luck.

Try this one.

IDR - Snarish Perc

You can start from it.
With a bit of layering, Transient, EQ and reverb you can make something alike to this.

Hehe, don't worry, i wasn't asking to make in time for this OSC. Just wanted to know how many time it takes, as curiosity. I like to know things

Anyway, my track is almost done.

I like limited freebies, this is the cherry on the cake for OSC, to make wonderful tracks with limited stuff.
We are learning too much from it and that is priceless.

after a long time off illness (i have a very aggressive ear infection and heavy cold so i couldn't listen to tracks or make music. Dammned time

The Podolski give me ideas to make sound alike tracks, so here it comes:

Lightweight Compressor x 1, Loudmax x 10, TALReverb II x 1,

All patches are again created from scratch.
