I'm using Logic Pro and I would like to automate the Zebra delay time when it is sync'd to the host. However, I don't see this in the Track-Based Automation settings and it is also not an option in the modulation matrix.
Am I missing something?
BTW, I LOVE Zebra 1.5! Hands down my new fave softsynth...
Quick automation question

Hiya Warmdesk,
for some reasons, I made the delay time unchangeable when in Sync mode. The decision is roughly a year back...
You can automate the Sync parameter (1/4, 1/8 etc.)...
or... switch to "ms"...
here btw. is a shortcomming of the new layout and stuff... I havn't managed to translate the knob values to reasonable numbers (i.e. "250ms" rather than "12.05"). I think, as it had been solved in 1.0 it simply slipped through the to do list...
/me sees an update comming...
Another issue with automation is a shortcomming in Logic. It only allows for 128 parameters to be automated, but Zebra has 281 automatable parameters... weird...
I'll see what I can do...
Cheers,
Urs

Thanks, Urs. This is exactly what I needed to know. I thought also that perhaps you could make the rate change the Delay Sync by percentage values in Sync mode--I think this works with the LFOs, right?
It is absolutely bizarre that emagic would limit the number of automate-able parameters to 128...why stick to this MIDI paradigm even after abandoning the paradigm with TBA?

Yes, I have asked myself as to why it isn't percentage... maybe I should make like an "unlock" mode... otherwise hundreds of in-sync presets would be screwed up...
And Logic... yeah... it's strange at times...
