I am surely overlooking something, but I can't find the way to control bypass via midi.
Where is it ?
thanks,
Luca

there is no such parameter as your host should let you do that

Hi,
I am using Audiomulch and no, it doesn't allow to remore bypass.
It is a long debate between vst developers who say bypass is not needed because daw have their own and Ross @ Audiomulch saying it doesn't need to set up a bypass function because vsts have their own bypass...
Since there is bypass on your plugins, would it be a big problem to add it to the midi controllable parameters ?

I'm afraid it is a problem. In fact, it is a direct conflict with VST3. And sorry to say, but that's Ross' problem - many plugins (I'm not saying most, 'cos I'm not sure, but I would assume so) do not have bypass as it doesn't make sense - why would thousands of plugins implement the same function, while a few dozens of hosts can do that? And for a host it is even easier, improves CPU usage and can even improve audio quality as many plugins need to perform some kind of conversions, denormalization protections etc...
