I'm Skynet...

You can download a free program called Blender to make 3D stuff.
You can download a free program called VSXU to make visualizers for your music. (This one is tricky, but i'm trying to learn about it).
You can download a free program called Mixxx to make your own DJ mixes.
You can download a free program called Jing to screencasting your screen (audio included).
You can download a free program called Wavosaur as wave editor.
You can download a free program called GIMP as image editor and photo edition.

Have a nice day.
Skynet... Login out...

All this is what i use mostly.

Basically is:

·Upload your tracks made only with the synth required and free effects to your Soundcloud.
·Share it with the proper KVR Group (there are two groups for this so watch out).
·Come here with a text explaining what you used, how many instances, which free effects before the deadline.

These are the basic rules to submit a track.

Welcome and good luck. :)

Finished now 8)

Completed using 19 instances of Podolski and sticking solely to in-built Ableton Live effects. A limitation I found beautifully therapeutic.

Special thanks to IrionDaRonin for helping me with a couple of the sounds.

Did you add this to the group page? It's not appearing on the group's Soundcloud player.

Hello all! I'm planning on hopefully entering the OSC this month. I started a song a few years ago but didn't have time to finish it.

I had a question about the rules: Is it allowed to use filter plugins (for example lowpass and highpass)? I have been browsing through the submission notes but don't really see any mention of filters, so I wanted to make sure they were allowed before I start my track.

Thanks for the help!
