Hi.. on the download page of the MuTools website, there are some preset packs, Rock, Choir Vowel, etc. The instructions say add to muSynth folder, but I do not have such a holder. Does it mean MUX.

Put it under: User/Library/Mux. then you can find it in the user library while in Mulab

Duh.. it ain't there. Just the standard factory ones.. I put a whole bunch of them in there. Tried putting them in the MUX and the USER MUX.. tried them as folders, and unzipping them and using the MUX files alone. Didnt work.

The MuLab download page says "Move the patch folder into the Mulab/User/Library/Mux folder".carroll6 wrote:Hi.. on the download page of the MuTools website, there are some preset packs, Rock, Choir Vowel, etc. The instructions say add to muSynth folder, but I do not have such a holder. Where did you see that Musynth folder hint?

"Installing in Mu.Lab:
Drop the "Bamboo" folder and the "Bamboo.MuSynth" in MULAB/User/Library/MuSynth
When you'll start the program, you'll find the patch in Synths/MUTOOLS/User"
This what it says in the "bamboo.txt" file. ??? Ain't no big thing, just wanted to try them out.
These are presets on your download page by various Authors.

On my User Library/Mux it has nothing. No effects, no instruments. oh well, so I copied and pasted all the stuff I downloaded, plus put the factory "Instruments and Effects" folders into "User/Library/Mux".
In MuLab when I click MUX/Userlibrary nothing is there, when I clicke MUX/Factory the stock instruments and effects are there, but not the stuff I installed. ??? Hmmm.

Dakkra just figured it out. I had 2 MuLabs on here. Downloaded 5.1.x. Thought I had the desktop shortcut fixed, but mistaken, so it was pointing to the old, unmodified MuLabs 5.0.x.dakkra wrote:

Hooray! The instruments and effects folder were added by me because I wanted them organized in my user library so no need to worry about not seeing them.
