Reworking an Older Tune for Shreddage2 (Slow Melodic Death)

I decided that in order to get used to Shreddage2 I'd rework on older tune of mine before I went on to my new project.
I originally sequenced it for Electri6ity, but I could never get the palm mutes I was after with Electri6ity, so I sold that and purchased Shreddage2. I still think the palm mutes in EEG Strawberry are slightly better, but that library is really not set up for death. Shreddage2 is much more suited for it.
I slowed this piece down a little from my original version and started from scratch on tone.
I like where this is going. It's not finished yet, and this is just a preliminary mix, not mastered at all. Next is lead guitar and continuing to work on my intro, adding sound effects.

the intro is very creepy, great sound, remember me something of "Season in the abyss" from Slayer.for rhythm guitars,on my headphones the overall sound seems to be a bit full of highs.waiting for the leads I suggest you to work on the drums to make them more dynamic

Thanks for commenting!
Yeah, I'm still working on my tone, but I'm close to where I want to be. I fully admit that the drums need a lot of work.
I think tonight and tomorrow I'm going to work on leads.
I boosted the intro guitar a little after fiddling with its tone, too. I had to because I was getting a slight amount of distortion and I want it to be absolutely clean.

There was a small amount of distortion on the high notes.
I used the Amplitube 3 Metal Clean T with the Metal T1 cab with a small amount of chorus.

Has it been that long since I updated?
I have some sad and bad news. I didn't save the MIDI or stems for this piece before I shipped my Cubase off to someone else.
Not that it would be too difficult to reprogram it, but this one was only meant to be a test, anyway.
I'll move on to other, better projects.
Shreddage 2 album on the way!
