Just be aware Dimension isn't simply replaying the SFZ but applying it's own synth 'magic' too. :)

I tried the Garrison sfz in other players and, though fundamentally the same sounds, they lacked the envelopes for instance (strings cut off abruptly etc).

So usable but you may need to tweak a bit.

Thanks!
Just a bump, hopefully fisound guys will see it. :)

I bought Rapture last time it was on sale, and then I discovered it was the cause of my Reaper crashes. So it wasn't a good deal from that perspective. I'd say save your $20.
You are not a beautiful snowflake.

No problem here on Windows 7 64-bit with 32-bit Cubase, neither on installing nor on running the thing.

looks much better, but there seems to be a couple of issues (at least in osx)

minor detail, but in the preset box the forward arrow is greyed out

more importantly, clicking in the preset name field does not activate the separate preset window

can anyone else confirm ??

I can confirm the greyed out forward arrow. (next.bmp)
Just had a look in the resources directory and can see that probably needs changing.
No big deal.

On the PC there doesn't seem to be any preset name field problems.
Do you mean when you click the preset name field you are not seeing
the preset browser window?

As I said no issues with the PC.

thanks for replying

yup, on osx, clicking the preset name in the field box normally brings up the preset window...but doesn't

you're right about the arrow, haven't worked out which bit exactly needs to match but I'm not that fussed. It should be easy for anyone to fix or improve.

I have no idea about the preset name thing, all I've done is change the graphics files which shouldn't make any difference to functionality

well, it f*cks things up in osx (unless it's user error)

had to put replace with old resource file so it would reappear in osx

sorry about that. I only made it for myself but figured some others might get some use from it

not blaming you, but hopefully someone more osx-savvy might take a look to find out what the conflicts are....as long as people make backups of the original resource contents there should be no longterm issues

it's a shame because it does look better...oh well

I can say that to use muzeum in both Z3ta and rapture is a joy. I am wondering if I can use those waves in synthmaster as well?

Also the EMU pack with 3500 presets looks tempting but it looks like it comes in several formats as well as dim pro you can get it in alchemy and that would also work in dim pro as well since alchemy uses sfz'z just like DIM pro but dim pro uses flac to compress the wave data and alchemy won't decompress it like that so you would have to mess with decompressing it and batch converting the sfzs files. But dim pro can work it the other way and handle sfz's designed for alchemy. Also they have the emu library for other samplers like kontakt as well and that package has more content.

20 squid for a good synth! Fair play to Cakewalk.
