Just tracked - a bit eclectic entry / called it "Music For Pods" / Podolski and Sleepytime dbvu only and recorded the audio using Cantabile Solo then mixed them in Reaper using just Sleepytime dbvu and Kjaurhous Classic Limiter on the master.

My submission is "July, Open Your Eyes"
Stats
DAW: Presonus Studio One
Instances of Podolski: 23
FX: In-built limiter and eq; BaxterEQ, BootEQmkII, ThrillseekerLA and Epicverb from Variety of Sound; Limiter6 from VladG; PQ33 from J1000; and SonEQ from Sonimus!
I'd like to say a few words about the piece - namely, it was a great learning experience for me, and I am glad I decided to do it.
Podolski is a great but difficult little synth, and I learnt a lot about synthesis while working with it, and I had a lot of fun trying to coax these sounds I had in my head from it. I had a great time trying to piece together a piece with what sounds I could find, and I was able to put a lot of musical knowledge that was only theory, to the test.
Also, as this is my first submission, I'd like to thank whoever is organizing this shebang for strangers like me to come together with other strangers and share.
If there's anything I missed out I'll put it in, or if you have any feedback as well I'll be glad to hear it.
I'm sure I'll see you all again next month
Bye

Welcome to OSC, Cat Gordon.
Enjoyable track, but i'm wondering what is Maschine FX and how did you use that?
Is this Maschine FX any free software and available for everyone?
Please, tell us more about it.
Have a nice day to both.

He means the native effects that are in Maschine. They are free and available to everyone exactly like the Cubase or Live or Logic native effects are free and available to everyone...

@Mushy: Man, you were faster than me editing my post.
No he didn't use 2 DAWs. He used one DAW and its included effects.

I thought Maschine had to be run within another host. Obviously not.
Good luck to him

My DAW has a lot of effects, but I am not using them. Just Epicverb and Anwida reverb (their free version) and the W1 limiter. I thought the rules were supposed to be that they had to be available/free to anyone, but in a DAW, they are not.. as you have to buy the DAW to get them, so it's a little confusing.IrionDaRonin wrote:Welcome to OSC, Cat Gordon.

The Sonitus Mutliband comp and Boost 11 are two I'd like to use that are included with my DAW.
